MoM Initiative is a mutidisciplinary initiative founded in 2011 with the purpose to change the world (MoM-Mudar o Mundo) by addressing mainly sustainable issues. This initiative, was founded in collaborations with students from the Programa de Jovens Talentos para a Ciência (PJT) do Brasil, undergraduate research awards and several other awards. Volunteer students, researchers and practitioners collaborate in different projects and activities sponsored by MoM. Projects under this program are funded by private companies and public organizations. The project Circulos de Sustentabilidade (Sustainable Circles) was funded by an award granted to Prof. Ernesto by Novelis do Brasil.
MoM Sustenta is a program that has the objective to disseminate and make aware people and society regarding the importance of sustainable practices.
